FOR QUADRA VILLAGE DAY 2012!

Drop by Kings Road between Quadra and Dowler, and enjoy fun, free, all-ages activities.

Begin with the Pancake Breakfast and Healthy Start Breakfast at 9:30am.

Stay for musical performances from 9:15-1:00 by Rob Rosborogh and Ian Welsh, Tremble Aspen, Chris Ho, and Carmanah .

Watch for dance performances by the Chinese Seniors Dance Troupe, the Sons of Norway Folk Dancers, the UVic Cuban Salsa Club and the Vic City Breakers & Friends.

Parents, kids and teens: check out all the fun activities, including: face painting, Bouncy Castle, an obstacle course, Nintendo Wii games, giant twister, hoola hoop games, and Mother's Day crafts.

And don't forget to visit the informative folks from community groups such as: Blanshard Community Centre, Child Find BC, Oak and Orca School, George Jay Elementary School Parent Advisory Council, Inter - Cultural Association of Greater Victoria, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, HUFFS Hillside Urban Farmers Society, Kiwanis Club of Victoria, L'Ecole Quadra School Parent Advisory Council, CUPS Community Unity Project Society, Quadra Hillside Neighbourhood Action Group, Read Society, Sons of Norway, Capital Region Beekeepers, Victoria Emergency Management Agency, Native Friendship Centre, City of Victoria 150th Anniversary, United Way, and Victoria Police Block Watch.
